The objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the principles and applications of international trade, so that students are prepared to face the future complexities of the global economy. Exploration of the basic rules and institutions of international trade focusing on the World Trade Organization. Discussion of influential trade theories, the effect of trade on income distribution, the implications of tariff imposition and the economic mechanisms and policy issues that often arise in world trade. Political economy and controversies in the theory of trade are also discussed.

El objetivo de este curso es proporcionar a los estudiantes una comprensión de los principios y aplicaciones del comercio internacional, de modo que los estudiantes estén preparados para enfrentar las complejidades futuras de la economía mundial. Exploración de las reglas e instituciones básicas del comercio internacional centrándose en la Organización Mundial del Comercio. Discusión de teorías comerciales influyentes, el efecto del comercio en la distribución del ingreso, las implicaciones de la imposición de aranceles y los mecanismos económicos y las cuestiones de política que suelen surgir en el comercio mundial. También se discuten la economía política y las controversias en la teoría del comercio.

Después de una breve introducción a la
metodología del Derecho y la Economía, este curso utiliza las herramientas
estándar de análisis económico para el estudio del derecho, las instituciones
legales y el derecho internacional en relación con la economía; con un enfoque
especial en: (i) economía de la propiedad; (ii) economía de los contratos; (iii)
economía de la ley de daños, y (iv) economía de la legislación. Discusión del
derecho de los tratados, jurisdicción e inmunidad, derechos humanos, derecho
económico internacional, solución pacífica de controversias y uso de la fuerza.

The International Trade Import and Export is a theoretical - practical course where the participant is expected to know the application of the concepts, principles and strategies of Marketing with an international scope. At the same time, the acquired theoretical knowledge will be applied to cases of real companies, and remaining in contact with the current economic and international business.
The course is made up of four units through which the fundamental aspects will be analyzed in the international business environment, formulate international marketing strategies and design action plans for the import or export of products or services. Strategic options for international alliances or mergers are also studied.
