This course is designed to teach and certify students in the discipline of IT service-oriented management. Over the last 10 years, the world has witnessed a tremendous growth in data. This growth has led to a dependency in technology (HW/SW). A major pitfall of dependency in technology is if an organization grows too fast without following an industry best practice in IT Service management framework, there will be a high probability of a company to implode with major companywide issues. The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is the most widely accepted approach to IT Service Management. The integration of ITIL into a business provides an end to end guidance on how to run and structure an information technology division/department to realize business change, transformation, and growth.
