This course is designed to teach, motivate and stimulate students with Python programming language. Starting at a basic level (data types, control statements, list & dictionaries, design with functions, etc.), students will be encouraged to go further, by developing a course project of intermediate difficulty using more advanced tools (such as GUI, graphics, etc.).with in IT automation stuff over Python core features as a broad and well adopted programming language through the best practices in writing Python.

Business Technology Applications is designed to provide students with skills in computer technology and business applications in business. The emphasis is on understanding and using integrated software with basic business applications. This course utilizes computers as a business tool through the use of database, spreadsheet, word-processing, and presentation software, along with internet research. The student will use computing tools to understand the requirements, learn the fundamental architecture and how to operate an ecommerce site. The final project will combine all the learning into a real case, and the students are expected to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other tools as required/desired to product the final document.

This course continues previous networking courses and covers the skills and knowledge necessary to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office enterprise network, including configuring a switch, a router, connecting to a WAN and implementing network security. This course will set students up for Cisco CCNA. Topics include TCP/IP models and protocols; LANs and Ethernet; running Cisco IOS; VLANs and trunks; IP addressing and subnetting; packet delivery; static and dynamic routing; DHCP and NAT; network security; WANs, IPv6.

This course examines the fundamental concepts that comprise the information system (IS) functions in business and society, with emphasis on systems analysis & design. Together, we will study, discuss, analyze, and perform various exercises that bring into focus the myriad issues related to this most important field of study that affects virtually all aspects of business and society. Drawing from classroom and on hands assignments, students will be better able to understand the numerous technical, managerial, regulatory, and social issues associated with identifying and analyzing requirements for subsequent development of information-based systems. These assignments will highlight the methodologies and modeling techniques that have evolved since the introduction of the computer to the business function, making possible the overall objective of deploying robust and efficient information systems.

This course provides a comprehensive understanding to the world of big data and analytics. Big data is now a reality, the volume, variety, and velocity of data coming into the enterprise continues at an unprecedented level. Data analytics is the process of examining data to uncover hidden patterns, unknown correlations and other useful information that can be used to make better decisions. In this course, students will learn how to connect and visualize complex data by utilizing techniques such as aggregators, time series, dashboard customization, storytelling, metadata grids, dual axis charts, etc. Basic statistical methods will be used such as regression, central tendency, and dispersion.

This course is designed to provide an applied and practical knowledge required to design, configure, install, and troubleshoot hardware, peripherals and protocols used in local area networking. The course content is patterned after the material required to pass the vendor neutral Network + N10-007 examination. This certificate course focuses on rudiments of networking and the knowledge and application of OSI model. The essentials and application of TCP/IP and the use of routers with TCP/IP will be highlighted. Remote connectivity, network installation, network Administration, maintenance, support, trouble shooting, and network security will be some of the models covered. The topics in this course have been designated to prepare students to take the Network + certification exam but will also cover other topics in more detail as time permits.
