Human-computer interaction is a discipline concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use and with the study of major phenomena surrounding them.
This course is focus on understanding the capabilities and desires of people and on the kinds of technology available to interaction designers, together with a knowledge of how to identify requirements and develop them into a suitable design to use with brain, mobile, robotic, wearable, shareable, mixed reality, and multimodel interfaces as well as more traditional desktop, multimedia, and web interfaces. And will includes discussion of the wide range of interfaces that are now available, how cognitive, social, and affective issues apply to interaction design, and how to gather, analyze, and present data for interaction design. A central theme is that design and evaluation are interleaving, highly interactive processes, with some roots in theory but which rely strongly on good practice to create usable products. We will analyze many activities, assignments and videos, to find the different ways in which interaction design is carried out in practice - both in research and in industry

CIT 150 Security+ is a 4-week course and provides students with the skills necessary to apply and implement technical knowledge of security concepts in today’s security environment. Students will gain an in‐depth knowledge of systems security, access control, network infrastructure, assessments and audits, cryptography and organizational security across all vendor products. These skills have become increasingly important, as additional safeguards such as intrusion detection systems, physical access control and multi‐factor authentication become standard methods of protection. Students are given real world scenarios to reinforce the material covered and will learn how to apply the concepts to their daily operations. This course helps prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ SY0‐401 certification exam or other fundamental security certifications with any vendor.

This course will provide the student with second part introduction to Service Management in general, and preparation in ITIL Foundation specifically. The focus will be on ITIL Foundation level and introduce the student to managing IT so that it is a revenue producer for the firm, rather than a cost center. This is the core goal of the service management approach.

This seminar course will provide students exposure to the key legal and policy issues related to cybersecurity, including the legal authorities and obligations of both the government and the private sector with respect to protecting computer systems and networks, as well as the national security aspects of the cyber domain including authorities related to offensive activities in Cyberspace. The course will include a survey of federal laws, executive orders, regulations, and cases related to surveillance, cyber intrusions by private and nation-state actors, data breaches, in addition, privacy and civil liberties matters, among other things. The course will also explore the legislative and technology landscape in this dynamic area and will provide students with
Opportunities to discuss cutting-edge issues at the intersection of law, technology, and policy.

Microsoft
Windows Server 2016 is the cloud-ready operating system that supports current
industry workloads while introducing new technologies that make it easy to
transition to the era of cloud computing. Microsoft Server 2016 capabilities
meet operational and security challenges, freeing up IT resources that enable
engineers, managers, consultants, and executive management to focus on lining
up IT with business strategy rather than dealing with operational
inefficiencies. In this course, students will learn and work to plan, install,
and maintain the new Microsoft cloud based OS.
