Legal and Ethical Issues focus on business imperatives, law, and how ethical concerns collide. We aim to give our students practice confronting some of the tough decisions they will make as managers, and a taste of some of the debates they may want to participate in as citizens. Through carefully selected and edited cases and readings, we present controversies that tend to disturb and destabilize pat responses, creating spaces for students to begin to develop critical habits of mind.
This course explores college algebra that provides a clear instruction, precise mathematics, and thorough coverage that you expect for your course. Throughout the course, we present solutions to many examples from multiple perspectives—algebraically, graphically, and numerically. The side-by-side format also addresses many different learning styles. This course lays the foundation for the study of college algebra.
