It is well said that grammar is the foundation that helps students of any language build or enhance their speaking and writing skills. This course aims to:

  • Boost a richer knowledge of the language that could facilitate the student accurate communication within diverse scenarios.
  • Facilitate the student competitiveness within a job market where English stands as the primary business language, and written documents remain the official source for reporting.
  • Support a global communicator with higher opportunities to succeed in social and professional networking worldwide.

As they advance through this level of grammar, students should be able to identify grammar choices that will further build more precision and complexity to their spoken and written expressions. Progressively, the students should be able to:

  • Add fluency and higher precision to their expression while speaking and writing within communication choices.
  • Keep sharpening the listening and comprehension skills to construct meaning from short and extended speeches in diverse scenarios, as needed.
  • Enhance the reading and comprehension skills that enable their comprehensive approach to literary and informational written texts.
  • Compose academic texts with enhanced definition and development of the ideas.

This course targets a Low Intermediate level of competence. Through this course the students continue to develop language skills necessary to strengthen oral and written communication within their demanding social and professional environment.

Like Compelling Conversation 1, this second course is also designed for students with advanced competency in the use of the English language. However, High intermediate students who wish or need to perform with more confidence in the oral mode could benefit from this intensive conversation as well.

Through sections 3 and 4, this 8 weeks course continues offering space for intensive conversational experiences where students take the opportunity to add improved verbal skills to their use of the English language.

The goal remains facilitating fresh and spontaneous dialogues to increase understanding abilities and push the students to use a richer vocabulary in their talks. By now, many students would be able to contribute proverbs from their genuine roots as these “sayings” are usually a typical way of addressing the real daily life.
