This graduate-level course explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) transforms Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) through adaptive systems, natural interfaces, and human-centered design. Students analyze how humans collaborate, trust, and make decisions with intelligent systems, from conversational agents and recommender systems to AR/VR and emotion-aware AI.
Through research-based discussions, design simulations, and applied projects, students will evaluate frameworks that enhance usability, ethics, and inclusion in AI-driven interfaces. Emphasis is placed on interpretability, cognitive ergonomics, and responsible AI that respects human values.
