This course introduces the full analytics lifecycle descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive with an emphasis on data-driven decision making. Through cases and hands-on labs, students learn to prepare data, build and interpret optimization models in Excel (Solver), conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis, produce basic forecasts and connect them to decision models, and communicate insights using executive-level dashboards. The course culminates in a capstone where students deliver an end-to-end prescriptive workflow and present actionable recommendations.
