Fundamentals of Business provide an overview and understanding on the current issues and challenges facing today’s businesses, both small and large. The design of the course and its primary objective is to enable the class participants to improve their understanding the basic mechanics business operations; manufacturing, marketing and maintaining financial focus in a rapidly changing and competitive market. Students will reflect on assessing individual organizational leadership skills and be able to more readily decide their choice of the career challenges and awards that management offers. Upon completion of this course the student will recognize the fundamentals of current management practices, the changing roles of the manager and the managed, future trends in worldwide management structures and activities in manufacturing and service organizations
