Introduction to Business is about understanding what a business is and what principles have and are governing them. This course develops preparatory academic and professional skills as it examines what a business is and what the influence of external and internal factors are on that business.

This class teaches an awareness of the functions of business in society with an emphasis on understanding business ownership, competition, and the systems through which businesses operate. Students will create their own business plan.- Teacher: Santarvis Brown

This course will focus on the study of Budgeting Management in both Public and Private Sectors. We will seek to understanding the Government spending and the impacts in has in Private Sectors and our daily lives. Students will see what happens when Public Sector mismanage the Budget vs. what happens when Private Sector mismanage the budget. Student will analyze case studies and articulate their findings. Students will work in group to create a business where they will need borrow money and establish a budget for the entire company including emergencies, contingencies, payroll and taxes. They will manage the budget accordingly to avoid business failure.
