Este curso examina los conceptos fundamentales que comprenden las funciones del sistema de información (SI) en los negocios y la sociedad, con especial énfasis en el análisis y diseño de sistemas. Juntos estudiaremos, debatiremos, analizaremos y realizaremos varios ejercicios que enfocarán los innumerables problemas relacionados con este importante campo de estudio que afecta prácticamente a todos los aspectos de los negocios y la sociedad. A partir de tareas en el aula y prácticas, los estudiantes podrán comprender mejor los numerosos problemas técnicos, de gestión, regulatorios y sociales asociados con la identificación y el análisis de los requisitos para el desarrollo posterior de sistemas basados en información. Estas tareas destacarán las metodologías y técnicas de modelado que han evolucionado desde la introducción de la computadora a la función comercial, haciendo posible el objetivo general de desplegar sistemas de información robustos y eficientes. Los temas cubiertos a lo largo de este curso incluirán el ciclo de vida de desarrollo de sistemas, el rol del analista de sistemas, las organizaciones como sistemas de información, introducción a la selección de sistemas, definición de requisitos de sistemas, análisis de factibilidad, diseño de sistemas y arquitectura de sistemas.



This course aims to identify, assess and evaluate risk to enable the execution of the enterprise risk man The Capstone project is the last class that needs to be taken. Students will undertake and complete a scholarly project related to their chosen program of study under the guidance and approval of the supervising faculty. This Project is a culmination and synthesis of prior graduate learning in the MIT program. Students will be expected to complete the scholarly project and present the findings via a manuscript and an oral presentation.
