Soft skills are a combination of social and communication skills, aptitudes and the ability to relate to others; those who possess them generally work well as a team, are results-oriented, and are flexible in their social relationships. They are also strongly linked to emotional intelligence, understood as the ability to satisfactorily manage emotions in order to relate positively to others.

Los temas incluyen distribuciones de frecuencias, gráficos, medidas de ubicación y variación, distribuciones de probabilidad, distribuciones de muestreo, distribuciones binomiales y normales, puntajes z, estimación usando intervalos de confianza, prueba t, prueba de chi-cuadrado, prueba F, pruebas de hipótesis, análisis de varianza, regresión y correlación.

A first course in statistical methods including such topics as collecting, grouping, and presenting data; measures of central tendency, position, and variation; theoretical distributions; probability; tests of hypotheses; estimation of parameters; and two variable linear regression and correlation. Use of statistical computer software and/or a scientific calculator (capable of performing 2-variable statistics) may be required.
