
This course introduces students to the art and science of decision-making through modeling, and the foundations of decision-making modeling using logical reasoning, structured problem-solving, and accessible tools like decision trees, payoff tables, and Excel. Students will learn how to analyze choices, evaluate risk and uncertainty, and build basic models that aid better business, personal, and policy decisions. It bridges the gap between theory and practice by equipping students with structured frameworks, basic quantitative tools, and real-world examples.
